Default s/f 14 bolt

will a 2wd 3/4 ton s/f 14 bolt work in a 97 z71 i was told it is 2 inces to narow and i would need one out of a h/d 12 ton 4x4.

im asking because i have the 8.5 10 bolt with the g80and my ring-pinion are excesivly worn and my front pinion berring is going bad. also if any one has one w 3:73 gears pm me a price if you want to sel it.

They are two different widths. You can run spacers, or get the 4wd version.


Think I may have seen a 14bSF sitting on Big Al's garage floor last night. PM him.

ok well i found the awnsers on fullsizechevy.com its 3 inces narower and i found out i need a conversion u joint, but i found one in olivet so i will probly be getting it this weekend

and thanks for your help pavement pounder i will probly pm him if the one in olivet isnt there when i get ready to pick it up
