Joe Biden, True To Form...
Evidence of Joe Biden's free pass from the media:
9/20/2008, at a United Mine Workers of America fish fry in Castlewood, VA: “You know we have enough coal in the United States of America to meet our needs domestically for the better part of the next hundred to 200 years,”
9/16/2008 in Maumee, OH: “We're not supporting clean coal" “Guess what? China is building two every week, two dirty coal plants. And it's polluting the United States, it's causing people to die.” “No coal plants here in America!” pledged the Democratic vice-presidential nominee. “Build 'em, if they're gonna build 'em, over there and make 'em clean because they're killing ya.”
Note: Obama/Biden website indicates they DO support clean coal technology. At the convention, Obama said “As president, I will tap our natural gas reserves, invest in clean coal technology and find ways to safely harness nuclear power.”
More examples of excellent teamwork:
Biden, on CBS News with DNC PR staffer Katie Couric, referring to their ad criticizing John McCain for not using a computer:
“I thought that was terrible by the way. I didn’t know we did it and if I had anything to do with it, we would have never done it”
Obama's first major decision as a candidate was Biden. So, his actions tell us that he's a tool of the old-time machine, and will do their bidding (actions speak louder than words here). Change, my ass.
This is the Pub. Leave common sense at the door.
