nice! I'm looking forward to your progress, you'll definately be done before me.

while you are at it will you be narrowing it? I'm assuming lower too?

I was going to go full tube chassis, but I really just wanted to get this thing build and back on the trail. My goal is to have it done by midway through Oct. at the latest. I will be saving about 1 month of build time by keeping the firewall, 1/2 the frame and just reworking the rear suspension.

The cruiser was like 63.5" wide at the back of the doors. I am going to narrow it down to about 54" wide at the back of the doors. I am going to be lowering it maybe about 2" or so. Just depends on how it all works out.

I worked on the front suspension today, I got some good progress but I wanted to go home and did not take pictures. I will get them tomorrow.

I hope so! I just started to get too comfortable with the old setup and just kept pushing it! This last year of wheeling has been very hard on this old cruiser.

It's because your balls have grown larger and tougher than your rig.

The great crime of the Trifecta run was not having your "Roger's Chute Pyscho Run" on tape. Oh well. Guess you'll have to do it again.

UPDATES!

I am using Johnny Joints on one end, but wanted to use poly bushings on the other end to help with some dampening from shock load. The Links I got were premade and taped for LH and RH. So I made up these to allow for them to still be adjusted when installed:

Front Uppers Mount/truss:

Links in place:

Still have to finish the lower axle mounts and make a small truss for the passenger side of the axle. Then I can make the air shock mounts and move on to chopping the frame up!!!

That looks good. Looks like the wheelbase should be about the same?
