I agree that their work speaks for itself but the FJ is currently not speaking but it would be screaming after a shiny paint job by yourself!

JCR is launching new products in the future from what I've read so why not get some advertising out of his awesome rig.

Maybe the FJ is shy like Bri and likes the drap. It's still awesome no matter what color it is but the army proved that people aren't attracted to drab which brings less people over to see the crafstmenship which leaves less people talking about it . . . less publicity by word of mouth .. . . Equals loss of potential revenue.

I vote for hot pink

I love bling too, but since he is gonna beat on it, it would be sad to see nice paint get jacked.

I will say, however, that something to break up that long stretch of flat paint would help, perhaps a company decal or some kind of lettering.

more poser flex, and more hood modeling please

I think a 6" tall "It's a Jeep thing!" would be way cooler!

I tried a grenade stencil and another cool stencil on the side, but neither I liked.

2 things:

1.) We are going to be launching a new Jcr Offroad Site here before the end of the year with some good new products. However, I did not build this rig as a walking billboard for Jcr. I did not build this to go take it to car shows and talk about it. I build it to wheel. I had several goals that were all related to wheeling; Cut down on the width of the FJ, Cut down the approach angle to help compensate for the narrower toyota axles, and build something with a smoother riding suspension. Yes it is a good opertunity to show off some tube work that we normally don't get to do, but the rest of the work we have done on other customers jobs, it's nothing new.

2.) I don't like to go wheeling and have to talk business. Once ppl figure out who we are, they want to talk about work stuff and we spend more time talking about work then getting time to wheel. We drive a minimum of 400 miles to go on trips and I want to get my money out of where we are. So you will not see our rigs all badged up like a shop whore. This may seem prude, but this is just how we roll, this is how we continue to enjoy wheeling.

My FJ looked so nice for as long as it did mostly because of the OD paint. I would spend about 10 hours after wheeling it to clean it up, rattle canning it green and the paint hides ALOT of trail damage.

If you look at this rig in person, the hood is crappy, chipped paint, scratches, dents and dings. The Cowl looks simular. It is definatly not worth the time or effort to fix this crap on a wheeler. And good paint would be a waste of time and money.

No matter what I do with my FJ, it's still not interesting to most (read 75%) of Jeep ppl, which are most if not all of our customer base. The FJ can sit outside next to a half torn apart scrambler project or a bolt on built TJ and they won't even look it over. If we wanted something as a billboard for our business, it would be a TJ or XJ
