Default AArrgggghhhh! Michigan Salt and Steel Lines!

I just blew $400 on a new gas tank, sending unit and pump for my 93 Suburban C2500 2WD hauler. Got it all back in nice, fired it up, and a steel line in the frame rail cracked. Took it to a buddy's shop to get it on the hoist. All the steel lines on the truck are paper thin and ready to bust (fuel and brake). I'm flat broke. I don't even have the cash for a 5ft section of line let alone the 1/4 mile of line this truck has. If I sell it, I doubt I'll get anything out of it. But, the local ordinance in town here says I can't let it sit.
Got any ideas?

Does anyone make a stainless pre-bent kit for a 93 Suburban 2500?

As long as the plate is legal you can tell the city to blow you. They cannot do anything to anyone if the 'burb is legal. How do the local Bellevue cops know its broke? Many old ladies in town only drive to Felpausch and the post office once a month.

I know almost all the cops here in Bellevue, so I doubt I would get a ticket. My main concern is, I'm running for Village board. If there were complaints about vehicles sitting on my property, I thought it might hurt my chances. Upon talking to a few people, it won't be a problem now. The truck is legal, right down to the insurance. So, I'll let it sit next to my Ranger project I'll get to someday.

I appreciate it. This past Spring, I went from a 24x32 garage to a 1-car closet.
