Default Sand hill racing saturday night at OSTC! We have a tree and some electric timers

FINALLY scored some reasonable comp insurance.

Just one rig at a time on the hill, no head to head racing.

We will be hosting TIMED races up the two sand hills on saturday night at OSTC.

You can find info here:
http://www.greatlakes4x4.com/showthread.php?t=99841

We will be taking the best of 5 runs per rig. Starts at 5pm saturday night!

We will also be having a huge bonfire at the base of the racing hills.

thanks, cc/whiterhino

Pouring rain, sloppy hills, too wet for a bonfire, many people left.

That pretty much covers it.

We had Jim Mazzola in camp so we had a great (huge) fire, just not at the bottom of the comp hill since a lot of people took off. Standing in the rain sucks, fire or not. It let up for a few hours last night so that was nice. Or maybe the fire was big enough to burn off the rain drops before they hit us?

Some people Blew a rear axle at 2 PM and took it over to My friends Camp in rose city , I even told Kelly to go with us and fix his broken axle.
Fixed it and flew back and got to comp hill and found all all you people wussed out and only about 10 rigs were there trying to get up but everyone broke and been trying to get up it for the last 2.5 hrs and Rob took his Long wheelbase Ram 50 on 37 claws and walked up the hill (all 3 of them) and then they all left,

Me I made the mistake leaving the boggers at home and ran the Swamper truxus AT cus they are great in teh sand But the big suck in teh water log muddy sand and I could only get up the center hill to the right

Heard at dinner at the Gig that pretty much everyone had taken off. Fed some extra folks for OSTC at dinner and think a few of them even won in the raffle.
Rain quit before dinner and the raffle, had out Eagle Scouts build us a fire and had a great time until early morning when the rain came back out.
