Default Early CJ wheels/tires (4 of 'em)

I got these with a project vehicle I bought, but have no need for them. They're a matching set, and still have a lot of tread on them. The tires have some dry rot, but I understand that they use tubes, so it's not a big deal. They hold air fine. Bolt pattern is 5 x 5.5".

Come get 'em. I'm located just West of Grand Rapids. Reply here, or e-mail me (address in sig).

Thanks,
Craig

You're welcome to them, Josh, but they won't clear the disc brake calipers on later-model CJs (which means the rollers wouldn't roll, at least on the front). These were from a '71 CJ-5 that had drums front & rear.

Craig

Kevin,

They're 16" diameter. I believe the tires are 16" x 6 (or 6.5)", but I'd have to double-check.

These are VERY rare wheels. Those of us that restore Jeeps appreciate this. Whoever buys them please do not destroy them They go for $100 each new for replicas. I would pick them up but I already have too much crap in my garage.

I'm not sure, unfortunately. I'm much more familiar with '76-'86 CJs.

Well, hopefully someone can use 'em. If they're still not picked up by the end of this week, maybe I'll eBay 'em. At this point, though, they're still FREE to someone who can use them.

Yes. They are stock wheels (but not the tires) for a CJ2A.

Still available. I talked with dmcjeep, and I'd really prefer that they go to someone who could use them for a project Jeep (he understands that). Anyone?

The tires in that pic look like NDTs (non-directional tread). I thought those were more of a military thing. Apparently, they used them on civilian Jeeps, too.

Yes. NDT tires were stock for a 2A.

Man, you're ruining everything. I talked with Josh on the phone, and explained that these wouldn't work for him. He's going to keep looking for some rollers (I offered him the set you have ultra-cheap, Kevin, but he's just going to try to round up some freebies). BTW, are you still swinging by tonight?
