Default Window regulator

My 97 chevy truck the window regulator just popped out of the track,anybody else ever have this happen.It does'nt bind up and moves freely?


P.S Im replacing it anyways,just curious if its happened to anyone else.

may be that the roller is just whore out and is loose in the track...this may sound funny, but I cut off my origional arm about 6 inches down, and welded replacement arm from a junk yard end....5 bucks and some time. haven't touched it since. that was 3 years ago.

that or the track itself has bent outward. ive had it happen to me.
