I love the old Brit bikes..I have a 69 Triumph T100R that actually came from England (shipped over by the original owner who was in the military and stationed there)...my brother has a 71 (?) BSA, but its heavily modified...

sorry, neither for sale, and I dont know where any are as of right now...I do have a friend that builds choppers and uses the Triumph engines alot, I could get you his number if you'd like... I would also be interested in seeing what you end up with..

bump for ya, anyway..

Hey Mayhem, be sure to post some pics when you get your projects done. I love the old British bikes (except the Royal Enfield knock-offs) and I am into the pre- 70's Italian stuff Ducati's, Moto-Guzzi's, Beta's, etc.

It would be cool to see what you've created / restored. Keep the old stuff on the road!

Fer sure MT, plan is to stay Brit tho, as i was actually born there. Ive been out of bikes for a few years cause of wheeling, but now im turnin the tides and going back to bikes primarily.

Plan is to make a couple nice bikes, get a few rare ones and restore for a collection, and sell the more common stuff after a buildup to basically help pay for the stuff that will stay. Got a few theme oriented bikes in mind so it should be badass, some will be 100 degrees from stock and the rare ones will stay as stockish as possible.

I really like simple bobbers, but feel there isnt many people out there that take it to the next level of custom. Always thought brit bikes had a nice rake to begin with so thats the one thing that wont change, but might see some shortened springer front ends with 21 inch 80 spoke rims, 6 inch extended rear plunger section and so on and so on, i think u can see where it's going.

So far seems like a BSA lightning and a Bonnie are headed my way.
