I'm thinking that Team Obama is a little shaken up by the addition of Palin to the ticket.

They already had McCain outgunned in terms of charisma and speaking ability, and their marketing campaign was much snappier - even though a few are starting to question if Obama is running against McCain or Dubya.

Palin injected some life and spunk into the campaign - while centrist McCain works the center, she's now working the right - and has charisma of her own - she's the "anti-Obama". She's not pretentious or elitist like the Obamas are - no ivy-league education for her. She has five kids and a messy life, unlike the very polished and well-crafted Obama life story, where things like drug use plays out as a positive, learning experience.

the are pitting palin against obama imo. a great choice. obama is anti american tax and spend large government democrat. palin is a typical american family. obama's tax proposals would crush a lot of people if passed.

This thread makes my day. I was starting to think this site was leaning way too far to the left.

Now if I could just get my wife to let me put a McCain sticker on her car......

If Michigan swings into the red this year it's all over for Sen. Obama.

it will be tough for mccain to get michigan as is for any other republican. wayne and oakland county have soo many minorities that always vote democratic. lord only knows why. I am proud to say that I am one michigander who again will be voting for the republican ticket.
