built the front storage box and got the tailgate built, now just need to come up with a hinge system

Yup, pretty sweet huh? I want be able to carry the canoe on top. I just need to figure out how to run the wireing to allow for the slide.

How cool is it looking I can't figure out where exactly I want to mount the spare tire though. One the tail gate or one of the sides.

I'd run it down the side of the tongue and just put a male-female connector of the right type in the middle of it and then make a female-male extension from another one of the same connector at the length needed when extended.

Seems like a spare that large hanging off the tailgate might pose a problem when the trailer's light/empty?
