Default Good quality starter

Who makes a good quality starter?

I am on my third Autozone POS in three years (at least they replace them for free!).

I am getting tired of doing this every year, any suggestions?

I would rather not spend $300 on a Mean Green or similar unless they are really three times better.

I know that any starter will have issues after being submerged in muddy water repeatedly but there has to be something that holds up better!

Any suggestions?

-1/1 for Napa, mine crapped out after essentially 5 days of use. Will have to see how the replacement holds up.

The problem is one I ran into with MoPar starters a few years back- you are dealing with 20+ year old cores. I went with brand new, not rebuilt, Chrysler starters in all my rigs and never looked back.

Did you get the "standard" one they sell or the "premium" model? I didn't know they had a premium one until they wanted to "upgrade" mine for not having mine ready when they said they would, unfortunately for me, they didn't have the premium one in stock either.
