Angry 351 question

I have a 1995 f150 with the 5.8 this week i was hauling my camper to Clare and it had a bad miss in it and was popping thru the air cleaner and spark knocking, i jumped on it going up the hill and it down shifted alright and was winding out and then when i got to my exit i noticed a bad ticking noise, when it is under a load you don't here it just when you let off and come to a corner. i tried power braking it in the drive way at about 3 grand and it didn't make any noise until i let off of the gas. any ideas? Thanks Kim

What kind of milage is on the engine? Could be a loose rocker arm, could be broken exhaust studs, could be bad wrist pin knock.

There are many variables to account for. Whats the condition of the timing chain? What's the condition of the Distributor?
