I get what you meant, I read the parts between the lines, lol.

What about the rest of the post, re different people, different moral value.
I'm not going to continue to disect that sentance.

As for the rest of you post yes, you have convinced me that there apperently are people who's moral compasses are so screwed up that they don't know that it is wrong to go around having sex with underage girls and that don't see the problem with causing harm to other people. There apperently are people who have no moral compass and need an ancient book to tell them right from wrong. If you are one of these people with a busted moral compass please do continue to use the Bible as your moral guide.

If I'am one of those people my argument to you is, my moral compass isn't broken your's is.
Your trying to force your (fill in the blank) beliefs on me, you must be scared to let people think for themselves.
Who decides whats underage and or if its wrong???

Sooner or later someone or something must establish guidelines.

My continuing question is how does this happen.

A prime example of what I'm talking about is abortion. Some people feel it is immoral some don't.

Now if you say you don't believe in abortion so don't participate, but if someone else does thats their decission, then you opened the door for sex with a 16 year old and anything else that one person might find perfectly acceptable and another finds immoral.

Well for me it's pretty simple. My moral guideline is "Don't harm others, do help others". Yes, sometimes I fail to follow this. Sometimes things I do unintentionally harm others, and sometimes I fail to help other when I should. I'm not perfect. But I believe that as long as I try to follow this simple guideline in my life I feel comfortable considering myself a moral person. Yes, this means that my view of "moral" might not conform to yours, or the countries, or the Christian Churches, but that's not my problem. As long as it did not negatively effect anyone I don't think it's anyone else business. Now the laws of the country many not agree but I do not necessarily see "moral" and "legal" as the same thing.

As to how moral guidelines get established I think it goes something like this...

Ug, Moog, and Fred all move into the valley at the same time and each establish family and farms. Each tries to just "do their thing" but as their families and farms expand eventually they start crowding each other, eating each others food, living on each others land etc. Eventually they decide that there needs to be some rules since they can't seem to just "get along". So they write down some simple rules like "don't take each others stuff" and don't punch anyone in the face". This works fine but after a while they start writing rules for everything. Things like Ug plants rutabaga near Freds kumquats and they both die so the new rule is "thus shall not plant rutabaga near kumquats. And one of Moogs kids eats one of those funny looking pink animals with the weird nose and get sick so the new rule is "thus shall not eat those funny looking pink animals with the weird nose". And then one of Ug's kids gets all horny after seeing one of Moogs hot daughters and screws her. Not wanting to admit she was a willing participant she says he attacker her, and he says she was so hot looking that he couldn't help himself, so they make a new rule that all women must keep themselves completely covered while in the presence of men. And one day a nearby volcano starts erupting. Obviously everyone very concerned, so all the men get together to try to figure out what to do. The women cook the food for this gathering. On the 5th day the BBQ gets out of control and an entire cow goes up in flames. And the volcano stops erupting. So the following year the volcano again starts erupting so they have another 5 day meeting at the end of which they burn a cow and again the volcano stops erupting. The following year the volcano doesn't erupt, but just to be on the safe side they meet for 5 days and burn a cow anyway every year after that.

Fast forward a few thousand years, and they have this big book of rules to follow. Some exist for reasons that are still obvious, but others no one really remembers why they made the rule, only that they are supposed to follow it. This book becomes the "moral guidebook" and everyone is to follow it, because it's really old that surely something that old is worthy of following. Anyone who does not follow is banished and not allowed to play in any reindeer games. The End.

Cliff Notes: I have no flipping ideas what hte answer to your question is, hell I even forgot what the question was, but I just felt like writing a funny story.

That seems to be acceptable to you, and then we can make fun about it.

Thats not rude its inconciviable that we, including you, would treat someone like that, and then we, including you, would make jokes about it.

If you read everything you would see the whole point was that it's more appealing not to just die and thats the end.

Please give us you opinion on beating the living shit out of somebody, especially some as bad as Jesus, then nailing them to a cross to die, and then we all make jokes about it.

Before you tell us how you feel set aside anything to do with religion and just look at it as done to another regular person.

I look forward to the new jokes you can come with about treating someone like that.

Try not to be rude.

How many times do i have to tell you that i am an atheist for one.
Find one joke ive put up about beating someone up. Grow up, i said that comment was uncalled for, anything about threatening someone else on here is ridiculous!!
And you have no idea how i treat people, so dont go assuming i treat them like you do!!!

Nobody asked if you where an atheist for one.

I never said YOU put up a joke I made reference to to apparrent humor on the first post.

You must have missed that.

The only thing you commented on was my discussion with MISHOWJEEPER

Nobody ever made any kind of threat, period.

I must have missed that, after rereading everthing I still can't find it, silly me..

You have no idea how I treat people so don't go assuming you treat people any different than I do.

I thought that was one of the nicer things I've said.

The first part is just informative as to facts, and the second part is a painless remedy.

Maybe your not as nice as I'am.
