Default New project

I'm new to the site but not new to chevy trucks.

I picked up this truck the other day and have some questions. It's an 87 Silverado with a 4" spring lift all the way around. I would like to lift it a little more (2-3 inches). What would be the best way to go about this without breaking the bank? I was thinking about a shackle in the front, and either a flipped shackle in the back or blocks.

Also, after I lift it more I'm assuming that the drive shafts will have to be lengthened? Also will the pinion angle be way off if I just do a shackle lift front and rear?

And finally, will this be enough to clear 35's when it's all done? I plan on doing some light off roading and going to the dunes.

i have a complete 8" lift for sale that looks and performs excellent with 35's or 36's. brand new almost for $350 and includes front leafs, drop pitman arm, 2" raised steering knuckle, extended stainless brake lines, stock leafs with add a leaf and blocks, and shocks but to answer your question you would be best to go with leafs all the way around but your talking about 800 dollars. my kit has front leafs and rear add a leaf and blocks and i didnt experience any axle wrap surprisingly....blocks or shackle reversal is the cheap way to go for the rear but i dont trust anything other than leafs up front....pinion angle wont be bad but i did have to lengthen my driveshafts but those are also for sale
