Just wondering what size plate you guys like using for coilover shock mounts and what you use for mounts for links. Thanks for any info.

i made some for my truck out of 1/4 turned out good. ill post pictures after i get them welded into place.

its more about how they are designed then the thickness of the steel...a poorly designed mount made out of 1/4 isnt going to be stronger then a well designed mount made out of 3/16

I usually do 1/4" and more than just 2 flat tabs if they will be taking the hard hits when the shocks bottom out or if there will be bump stops to take the hits then 3/16" is usually enough.
