1994 F150 Lightning, basically 100% stock other than exhaust. 150K miles or so. Trans has had some work done on it in the past, but I don't know what. It shifts great and most likely has a shift kit in it.
Interior is very clean for the age. lightning seats are in good shape. Motor runs great. Posi is very tight.
the plan was to build a TREC racer out of this rig, but the recent TREC races aren't very 2WD friendly...
the rear fuel tank leaks (so I was told by the PO, I have never used it).
Brake light has been on for 1 month or so. Still driving it, but I am guessing the ABS isn't working (fine by me).
it needs new tires before I would trust it as a DD
it gets about 14 mpg, maybe up to 16 on full highway trip.
If you want a very clean lightning, the door jams have light rust, but could easily be fixed. The cab is in pretty good shape, which is why I bought it The front fenders need to be replaced. The rear fenders need to be replaced too. The tailgate is a Taiwan special, but is rust free. Front bumper has rust holes in it, rear bumper is the lightning tube option upgrade, which are getting harder to find in good shape (this one is in good shape).
It is still a blast to drive. My plan was to get fiberglass prerunner fenders and a budget boost and have a very fun, cheap truck on 33"s.
Sell for $3900 EDIT - $2100 FIRM or trade for another Ford pickup that has a better towing capacity. An Ext cab longbed would be ideal. A high miles OBS powerstroke would be even better.
