I have quite a few pieces of electronic stuff, such as resistors, networks, switches, contacts, connectors, transformers, etc. Is Ebay the only outlet for this stuff? Where else can I move this stuff, other than the trash can?
I've been taking electronics to Padnos for recycling, and they've paid a little for some of it. Not a lot, but it's better than it going to the landfill. I'm a Network Admin, and we brought over at least 6 servers (2 massive 5U systems), a server rack, printers, etc... Well over 1 ton. I don't have the weight sheets anymore, but out of all that, we maybe got $75. If it has copper in it, there's a good chance they'll pay, even if it's only 50 cents. They'll even take pitiful CAT3 cable.
Apparently my phones pictures are now "not valid image files".
Picture an assortment of organized individual resistors taking up eight drawers of a Lista cabinet. Followed by another three dozen drawers of other individual electronic parts.
