I'm sure the're working on getting it out. They have dog party 2 coming up followed by the extreme truck challenge, the first trail master challenge and then the rock crawl challenge. Looks like a full plate, maybe they throw a bone this way.
we will be getting a flier put together for comp were planning on running both classes at the same time on saturday 2 events so we can be done around 4 pm so everybody will have time to go out and enjoy the park and island, then sunday will be 1 event for each class :nana: :thumb:
Yes, I'm running the Unlimited class this year. I got a little something new in the works for this years events. Just hope I can get it done in time for the first couple events.
Oh yeah, I had a thought about the classes as well. You should make the Modified class 38" and smaller or something like that. That would get the likes of Mike, Becky, Sludge and maybe some others into the Unlimited, so that it would be a descent sized field of competitors. And I'm sure there are a lot of people out there with 35's that didn't want to compete with the 40's last year and now would, which would still make the Modified a pretty good turnout of competitors.

Yeah, gas is going to be a killer for me heading to Twisted Trails several times this year. Probably be cheaper for me to rent a storage unit and keep the rig down there and then just drive my car back and forth from U.P. to L.P.
It can always stay at my place, it would however be outside, but it would be a nice lawn ornament for the summer. I will take Pasties in trade.

Drummond Island, this is getting more and more competitive with all of your crazy builds out there, Todd, Corey, Erin, Jim, Mike, Becky and others who are going to compete. Should make for a relaxing, entertaining holiday weekend.
wanted to do this, but already have a trip planned to Rausch Creek earlier the same month. can't do 2 long weekends that close to each other (work schedule)
guess I'll shoot for next year as well. the rig is ready to go and should be a fun time!
Just thought that I would mention that I picked up a GoPro helmet cam, roll-bar mount, 16 GB SD card and, if I can get it in time, a car AC power adapter that will be raffled off Saturday morning before the event starts. That way the winner can have the camera in their vehicle during the event. I will open the box and charge it up previous to that morning so it is ready to go. It will be offered to the competitors first (as they will be the first to arrive), but if all of the tickets are not sold then whatever is left will be available to whoever else. First come first serve. Tickets will be $10 each or 3 for $25. There will be a limit of 50 tickets sold. The entire package is valued at over $200. I have one myself and love it. There are also many other applications for this camera and you can even purchase a waterproof housing for it. It can definitely take a beating.
See you All on Memorial Weekend and drive Safe on the way up... drive to win when you get here.
Where is everyone staying? I still need to figure out where I'm going. The wife and dogs will be with on this one.
