Get socket headed cap screws for the covers and have me counterbore them for you. You will be happy you did. I didn't do mind and the space around the hex head is limited and makes it hard to snug the bolts. Next time I have mine off I'm gonna do it.
can you get a pic of the rear axle clearance at the fuel tank. I have the tub off mine and I worry about contact. no lift in my springs, but I thought without the tub I should have lots of clearance. I would like to move the rear back, but like I said Im worrying about clearance

i know, a couple years ago we took the rental burban up there. just sucks because you see all the beautiful rock formations with rubber all over them and cant play
