Since I can't shake off the bug to have a flat fender, and I have plenty of spare parts why not.
Picked this up months ago to start
Plans are;
2.5 L from a tj (left over from tj I had)
Ford/jeep T18
Dana 18 (had)
Dana 44 rear
W/t 30 front, now dana 44 wide track width
2.5" lift
Scout II steering box (had)
34-35" swampers
Found a couple bad spots in the frame. One is where the steering box will mount so while fixing the frame I added some more height to help with mounting the box. Also started removing all the old brackets that are no longer needed.
that bellhousing won't work? 2.8 is the 60° v6 pattern... Which is what I'm doing with for my Willy's build. Tj pattern 2.5 is different from the old 4 cyl?
I know a lot more about that funny Chevy bolt pattern than I do jeep changeover...
