This will be the second annual run at rocks and Valleys where we enjoy the snow, some brown meaty bean soup, and last year even delicious Mac and cheese.
Bring a dish to pass if you like. Last year we had deep snow, bitter cold, great food, some carnage, and so much fun.
I know we will be there as Rangers (for the most part) and there will be other rangers there as well.. If you have a cb, we will stay on the same channel or can exchange phone numbers so you don't get left in the woods for to long if you get stuck again.. :thumb:
HAd a "test" crock pot tonight of my specialty, new recipe in beta phase. It tasted good but didn't have the "texture" I wanted. So, I think I'll have something nice by the time we meet up for SoChilly.
I have been wanting to go there. Do you think there would be to much snow for a pretty stock Cherokee with 32' s on it ( pic in aviator). Don't want to be stuck all the time and a pain for everyone to keep pulling out. Thank you.
Come on out! There will be plenty of people willing to help you out if you get stuck. Like choppergar said, most of the main trails will be packed down. Just run like 10-12psi in your tires to flatten them out and help with traction.
You said you were pretty much stock so I assume no recovery points? Id suggest having at least one solid point on front and rear to pull on in case you need to be pulled out.
There be plenty of snow, but trails will be packed down from rigs. Just pick the trails u want. We'll be there as rangers to help with anything. You'll have a good time. And not go away hungry. See u there. Hope it warms up.
I spent this much time trying to come up with a witty comment. But when considering you guys with your matching bowling shirts, well........ not much can be said but "cool story bro" :d:
I gonna have to miss this year. Looks like I'll be working in Minnesota for awhile. Jim will probably still be there but I don't know if he will make chili.
