Default Hello all,

So here is my stuff. I've never been a big 4x4 guy. Trucks and larger vehicles just don't really do it for me. Why am I on this forum? Please don't hate, but I know there are some parts that I might be able to score from you all. And I live in the great lakes area. Also, I can appreciate a good build. There are some crazy awesome things that come out of 4 wheeling. I'll try not to be a jerk and just look at your for sale threads and never contribute anything, though I know very little about the benefits of one axel over another... Etc. I drive an 88 mustang, 2003 Passat, and.... a 2012 Prius V. Obviously I'm looking for Prius parts from you guys . Really though, the mustang shares a lot with the Ford Explorer and I've read the Ford 8.8 is a common swap. I need a few parts for my 8.8. In any case, a car guy is a car guy, so I hope y'all don't mind if I hang here a bit. Thanks.

Howdy, as koochman450r stated, there is probably more that isn't 4x4ing than is on this site now a days.

The deeper you go down the rabbit hole, the harder it is to turn back. be forewarned.

Good to know. I'll have to look around on the surface so as to not get stuck. :-p

Not being a jerk or anything, but I honestly don't know what that would do for me?

I would probably get that if I rebuilt the LSD in there, too, right? I guess... Is there a brand associated with these that you have? I thought those were just basic components of a differential. Really just uninformed here.
