YJ, 8.8 and ABS Help

I put an 8.8 onto my YJ with ABS brakes. I have bled the system 4 times there is no air in the system. When I am coming to a stop the pedal is softer than the
the old setup. Its softer for about half the pedal travel. Then about half way down my red brake warring light comes on and stays on. When I start up again, if I tap the break pedal about a quarter of the way down the light will go out. Then when coming to a stop it will light up half way down(every time).I also checked the E-brake funcion. It feels like the rear brakes are applying when the the back end is off the ground?

Everything I have read says nothing about a warring light issue. Also every one that had done it says the proportioning valve can stay in with no problems.

I'm thinking I may need a new master cylinder.

I also want the abs back . What do you think about splicing the front sensor wires to the rear to fool the system.

Thnks
