If you have never heard of SnoFari before, here is some information;
SnoFari is a family oriented Winter trail-ride that takes place on state land in and around the West Branch, Mi area. It is open to all makes and models of licensed four-wheel drive vehicles. We host a banquet dinner on Saturday night and give away TONS of awesome prizes during the raffle. The event is sanctioned by the Great Lakes Four Wheel Drive Association.
just need to throw a starter in mine when i get up to the cottage the thrusday before, then maybe some thursday wheeling if anyone is up there as early as me, your welcome to come with.
I don't know others plans but my Friday night run should be fine for a mild rig. Its tight technical driving but nothing to extreme. Snow depth is the biggest issue but usually if you stay towards the back of the group you'll be fine.
I heard that! I only have four more days to work on mine because I'm only home on the weekends. Still have to do some welding, wiring, and wrenching. I feel like I'm always cramming everything in before every trip we do!
looks like we dont have to worry about the snow depth for the stockers, but maybe ice again. 50 degrees and rain this weekend, then a quick drop below freezing on monday.
New windshield/frame went in tonight finally after my flop in November. Will be nice to have the windshild and softtop to keep the rain... I mean snow off at SnoFari. :sonicjay:
I can run tail on one. Wasn't able to help out as much as I wanted this year. Never/ wasn't able to pre-run any thing this year. Hopefully next year I can lead. I know my help will be needed more and more and am glad to help where I can.
I really want to run doorless, but the wife keeps saying no. I'd keep the soft top on to keep the falling snow off me though. I honestly don't think doorless would be too bad. The reality is I'm dressed pretty warm already because I'm outside quite a bit, and we are moving quite slow and in mostly wooded areas where the wind wouldn't be bad. Still, I'm betting the doors will be on again this year if I want to stay married. lol I'm jealous of you open top guys. Then again, I say that only because I've never wheeled topless in the winter. Once I do I wouldn't be surprised if I wasn't so jealous any longer.
Closer we get to the run the further I get behind. Pulled power steering pump, decided fuel pump is too open now to not replace. Rewiring several grounds, new starter, new power steering pump, new fuel pump... 2 weeks? Hmmm... no problem.
I dont get MLK day off but Im heading up on wednesday night :rock:
