Looking to head north tonight. Last week it was very dry but with the recent rain I'm wondering if the risk is lower. I just spent a few minutes searching for a DNR alert page & can't find anything.
Dave, that makes sense but I know the DNR posts fire alerts. I just can't find it. I'd like to be able to go to a site that would show the fire risk in a given region.
I don't know where the DNR one is. It rained up here last Saturday and pretty much all week, and yesterday we had snow. Snow on the ground again this morning. I think you'll be fine.
and the only reason I know this, is my firefox browser add-on uses noaa to pull the info, so I receive all sorts of stupid warnings. last week it was appearing as "WEATHER EMERGENCY, CLICK TO VIEW" so I click it, and it tells me I shouldn't start a bonfire. Now that's an emergency.
