Default 2017 KOH picture thread

Sounds like there's a pretty good group going out there this year. Unfortunately I couldn't make it. Figured I would start a picture thread and share some of their pics from FB and hopefully they'll follow suit and post pictures from their awesome experience out there. Definitely a bucket list trip.
I know Mr Beefy is competing in the backdoor shootout on Monday (you can stream it live on Livestream) https://livestream.com/ULTRA4. Hosejockey4506 and jeepm715 (w/Grassman) will be racing. Also Firehawk, A.J, and roxroes to name a few are headed out there to.

To get an idea of what to expect with the backdoor challenge, here is some video from our 2015 trip.

It's not that easy

hopefully they add stuff here. would be nice to see. I'm hoping to make it out there next year. I have an insider tip that backdoor is not really tough at all.

I've heard that it may have filled in at the bottom last time we were there. But one thing is for sure, when we were there for the backdoor shootout in 15' it was easy for some and ended bad for many, both Ultra4's and rock bouncers.

here's some video from Backdoor 2015, mostly the struggles

that's because some people forget how to drive when the cameras are rolling or large amounts of peer pressure

I've been there 3 times. Each year I've walked up to the base of Back Door and each year I've decided not to run it. Failure can be catastrophic. I've also ridden up it with Beefy and it's a hard climb and a hard bounce if you don't make it. I think it's a very tough climb for < 110" wheelbase rigs. Over that, it gets significantly easier. I've seen a couple recent videos of people making it and it looks like it's really filled in but my guess is that by the time of the shootout it will be dug out a lot more.
