My little tip is to use the door edge protector as a way to finish the edge on a cut fender to prevent destroying tires.

Clutch and flywheel are in. I want with a M-Pact duel friction clutch. The flywheel side is organic and the pressure plate side is ceramic. Basically it's suppose to have better holding power and better wear but at the same time allow me to slip the clutch like a traditional organic clutch.

Also I installed a pilot bushing from a 1974 CJ5 with a 304 so I could have the AMC crank pilot hole diameter and the inner diameter for the NV3550

The crossmember is in. I used the original holes the Ba10/5 used with the crossmember and then used a TJ NV3550 transmission mount bolted right to the transmission

I am using a new slave cylinder/ master cylinder for the NV3550. I sourced the part for a 2000-2001 cherokee that came with the NV3550. It appears the mounting holes for the master cylinders are different so I have a bit more fabrication to do.

I am finally getting ready to flush the new transmission with diesel fuel. The shifter is bolted in and the transmission is filled with diesel.

I suggest using a transfer case drop of 1 inch so the shifter will have clearance between the transmission tunnel because the NV3550 is taller than the ax15. I still had to slightly clearance my tunnel
