I cant put my spare where I originally planned it will be like on the exhaust now. The original plan was for 35x8 and the new is 42x15(11"tire) and the difference is that they will now hit. I cant move it out wider because then it will move the tire on the axle out and I cant do that cause then the door will hit the tire then when it opens and the only way to fix that is to increase my wheelbase so i'm not doing that. I tried sideways behind the engine but that would also increase my wheelbase so that's out. Looked at on top of the engine and nope that wont work either. Looked stupid and killed my visibility anyway. Then looked at behind the bags which are behind the axle. It extends my over all length by 8" but is only around 5"longer then I planned and is still easy to load and unload. I needed to change the rear bracing and am happy with the result. Makes installing the engine super easy also and it will do better in a roll with the larger cage. The wheel base is 136 now that i moved the spare. But I think I can get that closer to 130 if I can move the axle closer to the damper and use the short cast 420 bell. I wonder if I can move the chuck circle enough towards the passenger side so the crank pulley is like 2" away from the housing? That would gain a easy 6" I don't know about hitting during flex though.
Just happy I got this damn tire thing figured out. Hate being away from that fucker and thinking about this junk. Maybe now I can get some damn sleep.
