My car hauling trailer was stolen from a storage lot down river over the weekend.
I'm sure I have some pictures of it somewhere but can't find them right now. I'll keep looking.
It was pretty much your standard trailer, faded black paint, wood deck with nothing to hold the boards on, brakes on one axle but the wire was broken and tied to the top rails. Flat right rear tire. Rusty framework.
They crashed the gate, broke off 2 locks on the hitch, dumper the car that was on it in the driveway and left.
I saw an identical trailer like yours just a few minutes ago. Rails looked identical. I thought it might be yours, but yours didn't have ugly chrome hub caps.
While in angry thought in a parking lot on Mound road it occurred to me that you(Bruce) may want to call local city impound yards in hopes the assholes dumped the trailer and it got towed.
Bruce, it looked like the truck and trailer turned and headed east on 18 mile. I'm over in that area quite a bit for work. I'll keep a look out for it. If I see it again, I'll try and follow it.
If that does happen, is there anything about it that you could defiantly identify is as yours? Any engravings, broken deck board, license plate, mole on left butt cheek?
