if its an 85 22R, it should be the same style block, so yes. 85+ = short deck, 84 down = tall deck.
But the 85 22R head should just accept your EFI intake without swapping the head. Starting in mid 1983, the EFI mounting bosses were there and by 85 they should all be drilled and tapped already.
ya that does. This means I can have my old 22r block and head at the machine shop while my 22re can stay in my buggy til I'm ready to swap the intake and all the goodies. Thanks guys!
