Hi. My name is Chris. I am president of a little club on the south side of Chicago. I am spearheading a charity build for a Chicago fireman with a disabled daughter. Since he is CFD he has good benefits and with an Allstar team of doctors and strong family base. Veronica is well taken care of and has shown remarkable progress. A few months ago she started walking on her own at the age of 2 and a half.
Our plan is to do something for Guy. He is the give his shirt off his back and not look for anything in return type of man. Besides I don't know what I would do or be able to handle if it was one of my daughters.
Over the years Guy has managed to swap a 4.0 in for the 2.5. He has 4inch sua and 35s on his 94 yj. His issues are it sits on stock axles and broke tcase. The goal is to get his rig to a point where he can handle moderate wheeling without too much worry of breakage. Therefore getting him out on the trail more often. A sort of fast forward on his build.
There is a facebook page. Project "goober". Please share, like and comment. Either Google or fb search. We are still accepting donations as well. Here is my contact info.

I don't know if anyone has said this yet but your signature brings the GAY and makes you seem like a hilljack.
I also don't understand why this guy needs all of these parts to get out and wheel. I and most other wheelers have run stock jeeps and trucks for years not needing all the shit you are collecting.

He has stock axles and 35s. Also has broke tcase. It started as just axle uprades, fix tcase and sye. Then it blew up when taboo customs kicked in bumper and rockers. The waggy front,8.8 rear should hold up nicely and he can run the same trails with us as most are 35s and locked front and rear.

I think what you are doing for your friend is nice, but asking for such things from total strangers that has no connections to you or your buddy is a little much. It would be different if I were giving $5 to a charity to help his daughter or children with special needs. I understand that he enjoys this sport like the rest of us do, but I guess your best bet would be keeping this a local community project. With that said, I hope your project goes well and good luck to your buddy.
