I just got an F150 with a 302. I had been sitting for a couple years and I can't get it running. I have checked spark and drained out all the old fuel out of the tank. I haven't checked to see if it is getting fuel to the engine for sure but it smells like it is getting fuel. It turns over fine but it wont actually run. Could it still be bad gas in the lines? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Yeah, Kyle it's a ford.... the issue is already circled. Try a bit of ether to see if she'll fire. The lines themselves will still hold a decent amount of fuel. Just be careful with the ether so she doesnt go boom. You can also squirt some fuel into the intake to determine whether it is fuel or spark related.
Ya... I know the big blue oval on the front is a big issue of mine... But I think I found the issue... There is an inline fuel pump or at least i think its a fuel pump that doesn't work
