I always seem to be able to get the hard"er" to find stuff from the Auto Value in Fenton. The store has changed names a million times but the Counter Guy has been there for 30 something years and knows his stuff.
The broncograveyard has been the best price, and seem to have most everything in stock. On d60 shafts, and lockers they have been the best price by far.
So I just bought some spindle nuts from Jeff's Bronco Graveyard. They are a 4 pin nut. A std D44 4 pin spanner wrench is too small. Jeff's had a 6 pin but not a 4 pin wrench but they assurred me that a std D60 is a 4 pin.
I have stopped at Car Craft and Napa. Neither one have the wrench I need and had never heard of a 4 pin D60. Does it even exist or is Jeff's selling me some bastard part?
OTC makes a 4 pin socket. I bought mine off some website for 30 bucks. Napa can get em as well but they are 50+.
