Things are improving fast. Have had alot of help and I thank the guys for all the hard work. Have moved into some new areas of the prop. and made good use of the land. There is more stuff for locker guys and plenty for everyone else. There is several new mud area and makeing new obstickle trail almost daily. Will post what I have pics of and more to come.
looking good, I haven't been on this forum in forever, but this is great to see you guys putting this together. I'm hoping to come up on the 16th for some fun.......I'm only 45min from ya.
New Rock Crawl done today, Its a dooozy. picks maybe soon if I remember the cam.
It is about 100 feet long up hill with a nice steeper final climb to the top. Next I'm headed to rough up the gravel pit some more.
Make sure you use as many C4 parts as you can. My C5 didn't last long. I'm thinking it would be smart to make an adapter to use the C4 TC and bellhousing as well. RB
Well I worked all day re shaping the Top of the gravel pit. I put in some more mounds and a few off camber crawls. Dale worked on clearing around our mud area near the Rail Road Grade. It should be ready to rip up this weekend :woot:
I added some more rocks to the new crawl so its getting closer to 150' long now . I decided to add some random small rock piles on top of Gravel pit . People seem to play on rocks where ever they are. Will start piling them tomorrow after work. See you on the 16th
Ron, thanks for allowing us to GPS track the trails last Monday. We had a great time! You have done great things there, keep up the hard work. Looks like 8 rigs now (poss. 14) will be making the trip up to see you guys on May
30th!
ron doesnt sleep, he works 12 hours a day, and then is at the park for the other 12. if you see ron at the grand opening, someone shake his hand, hes put more hours into this park than most ppl do work. good job ron.
Ron is amazing :woot: Without him (and many other people) this park would still be just a dream... Cant wait til the grand opening :bdr2::nana::beerbang: Great job everyone, keep up the great work and this park will no doubt be one of the #1 wheeling destinations!!
Thanks Ron & Jeff for the visit last Monday, we had a blast mapping new trails for our trip later this month. Great job on new stuff, lots of good sandy whoop trails with tight turns & rocks & logs thrown in. We loved the "bypasses for all" on tough sections, you could choose to throw down or go around lightly.
Here's a video we threw together, my bad on the gay music, but enjoy. First chunk of 4 minutes is around my place, last 6 minutes at RV park.
Play ground wheeling area just about stumped, and you need to see all the rocks and boulders we found. I'm thinking 3 or 4 MORE rock crawls to play on. This will be a fun scramble area with small climbs rocks and just plain fun!!!!!!!!1
This trail has all the tight turns you can ask for. after venturing in for 15 minutes or so you ask yourself ARE WE DONE YET??? and the answer is YOUR HALF WAY!!!! Yes it take about 30 minute to travel and there is just enough excitement along the way to make you drive back around and do it again. Have not named it yet. But I am sure I will find a name that fits.
i went and got my dad monday morning and went to the park, put him in the drivers seat and hit the new twisty trail. he loved it might have motivated another 4x4 buff. GREAT JOB RON :thumb:
Let us know when you are planning on coming up and we can show ya around if you would like...:thumb:
