Oh, well. I guess I don't speak Canadian well enough. I thought you were looking for what kind of drive slugs you had since your thread title was "Need help identifying drive slugs from my Dana 44"
Had to change the ball joints, that's why I was pulling the slugs. Found broken bolts, both sides. Pulled the slugs and found my 10 month old bearings absolutely fawked... Bought new bearings, and ball joints. Went to use ball joint press but could not get it to fit with high steer arm on. Clamped the arm in the vise and tried to get the bolts freed up. Powere bar with a length of pipe on it. Broke the base bolt on my vise... Had to fix the vise to remove the ball joint.
I think my jeep does not want to wheel in 10 days...
Trust me beotch... I will be there. I need to get a tap to clean up the threads for the upper ball joint tapered spacer. Gonna get it at work tomorrow. Seems someone must have taken a couple of threads out with the torch when they burnt the old one out. I don't want to pound the new one in and bang it all up. Ball joints are in the outer already. Just need to bolt it on and put the Brgs in it and I'm on the road... About an hour or two in the garage... I only work Monday Tuesday days, and Wednesday night. Have school Friday then I off until next Wednesday. Should be able to find time to get it done.
It's all together... Broke a bolt off tightening it in... There was one on passenger side that had a previous to me piece of tap stuck in it... Needless to say, it still does not have q bolt in it... 5/side should do it...
