I called and talked with Ron he was thinking 2 man teams in a relay race style this year. How does everyone feel about that?
He also said the bump and hustle will be a longer course this year. That should make things interesting.
And about the "Rock Solid Crawl Wall" Ron was thinking in addition to the main race up it he might have us start with the front tires of your rig on the bottom and see how far up you can get like that.
I like the longer bump and hustle...always felt like the course was too short. IF (and that's a big if) I can make this, I'd love to do the relay style race. As for the rock solid wall... I have no opinion, haven't tried it yet
longer course sounds good, tire on the wall to start... good luck... unless he changes the approach. looks like i will need to find someone to run with, i dont know if mike will have his fixed or if he will go.
I'm sure finding a partner won't be an issue. Those that need partners, speak up and some of us knowing how each other drive might put together good teams. I definitely want to see a better turn out than last year!
can't speak to wall since I've never tried it (was taped off when I was there) and I think a longer bump and hustle would be a good idea. it seemed short from what I remember watching the youtube vids
