1989 Jeep Cherokee (XJ)

4.0 inline 6 cylinder
Automatic Trans
NP 231 with slip yoke eliminator
D&R driveshafts front and rear
Full width D44 axles front and rear
Welded carriers and Yukon 4.56 gears
Full set of spare shafts for front and rear axles
Rear disc brake conversion
Reid racing high steer knuckle
All DOM steering with ¾ x¾ hiems
BBF beadlocks, on powder coated rims
36x12.5x15 super swamper TSL SX tires, grooved
Air conditioning has been converted to on board air
Custom “rat pack” storage in cargo area, (keeps tools from hitting you in the head)
Rear cargo windows replaced with Lexan
Unibody rails reinforced with 3x3x¼ angle from bumper to bumper
Aftermarket bumpers front and rear, rear has swing away tire carrier
Double triangulated 4 link suspension in rear
3 link with pan hard bar suspension in front
Fox 12” coilovers all 4 corners, have capability for piggy back resivoirs
After market steel box taillights (not installed yet)
CB with weather radio
Optima red top battery
Front doors are removable
4 spare doors all with good glass and minimal dents

The good:
Drives great down the road at 65 mph, no pulls or steering issues
Heat works, rear defrost works, nice year round wheeler
Has 5 belts, can do the trails with the family but also is capable to the extreme stuff
Already has dents, so you wont feel bad about adding your own.
Headlights, dash, brake and backup lights all work
All windows work
New fuel pump in ‘09
Front axle completely rebuilt in ‘10, only a couple outings since

The bad:
Engine has a slight stumble under light throttle. Never a problem on the trail, but driving it on the road occasionally it is annoying
Almost every panel has a scratch or dent, this is a wheeler and it looks like it. But it is far from trash.
Stereo has no speakers, it worked before I pulled the speakers though.

Im sure there is more, but that’s the major rundown of it.
.
$4000.00 ( i keep the winch.)
Im not in the position where I need to sell it, I just want to get going on another build.

make arrangements to come look at it and make an offer.

i will be more than happy to take a vehicle in on trade. remember, i will not give you what you think it is worth. i dont want your vehicle, i want to sell this cherokee to fund another project. the vehicle you give me for trade will be one that i turn around and sell, i will have to make it worth my time that i will have invested in trying to sell the traded vehicle. please do not expect top dollar for something you want to trade me.

so yes, i will be more than happy to take a vehicle on trade, but just like a dealer, dont think you will get top dollar from me.
