What Lies Beyond is hosting our first winter event, please join us in Grayling Jan 9-11. Being our first event we're testing the waters and having no event fee. We're also holding a rig limit of 40, so don't delay in registering. We're doing pizza on Saturday night after the trail rides for a $5 donation, and there will be a cash bar.

I left there at 2 pm today... And there was only about an inch of fresh... All lake affect... Supposed to get a good system snow Saturday evening/ Sunday morning. I would expect about ankle deep snow for next weekend... Maybe mid calf... Nowhere near hood deep though...:chauncy:

...winter weather advisory in effect from 7 am saturday to 1 pm
est sunday ...

The national weather service in gaylord has issued a winter
weather advisory for snow ...which is in effect from 7 am saturday
to 1 pm est sunday.

* timing ...snow will develop saturday morning with multiple rounds
of snow expected through sunday morning before a transition to
lake effect snow showers occurs.

* total snowfall expected ...4 to 7 inches.

Precautionary/preparedness actions ...

A winter weather advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities ...and use caution while
driving.
