so we bought a tuff stuff winch that is rated at 12500 lbs off e bay shiped to my door for $375. it came will all that is shown in the first pic. Everything looks like it is made well and will hold up except the gloves that had to cost .25 cents to make. the snach block is rated at around 17,000 lbs the remote has a 12 foot cord and the roler faring looks good to. it came with all the hardware to bolt to the mount that we are going to make. we are going to put it on a recever hitch and put plugs on the front and back of out trucks so we can move it form front to back or to diffrent trucks if we need to. i will keep you posted on our progress. we are planing on going to the dog party so that will be the first real test for it. if you have any questions feel free to ask and i will answer them the best i can
ya i gess we will find out here in a few weeks just how good of a winch you can buy for under $400 im just pumped to finaly have a winch i will keep you posted we should have the mount made in the next two weeks and then be able to test it out
we got the winch mount built and the winch mounted to it. the mount is way over kill but we dont want to ever have to worry abought it braking. i will post pics of it in the next day or two
What's the latest on your investment there? I was just getting ready to order up one myself and found your post. Would you recommend. You can't buy a used Warn or Ramsey for that price.
got to try out the winch yesterday my buddy sunk his truck which is sitting of 44s and about 6 inches of the tire was still above ground he actually found water and i had no problam pulling him out it is slow but when winching i dont think that it is a race
has went through a few solinoids and a remote.. but otherwise a decent play winch
