Sometime late last summer I was talking to Jim about modding his jeep and it snowballed and somehow I got in the middle of it. before I knew what was going on I agreed to build his jeep over again pretty much. The goal was lots of strength and a nice cushy ride while providing clearance for 40's in the future.
After the body swap I straightened out all my body mounts. After 2 outings in the rocks, they started getting fubarred again . So I straightened them out again and plated them along with an angled plate. I left them open top and bottom so dirt & water can be cleaned out. I know the pic makes it look like the mount is sagging. It's been that way all along and I had plated the top of it before the mount was added last summer.
Looks good Jim. Did you end up doing something about losing beads on those wheels?
