Sometime late last summer I was talking to Jim about modding his jeep and it snowballed and somehow I got in the middle of it. before I knew what was going on I agreed to build his jeep over again pretty much. The goal was lots of strength and a nice cushy ride while providing clearance for 40's in the future.
Yes, but currently both GG and Loonie are very questionable. My mom is not doing well and we don't expect her to live for long. If I can make both or either one I will, but it's day to day.
excellent idea on the center grab handle. we are doing that with the door bars for mine. wanted a handle to grab instead of cage to save your hands/fingers
No, it's inside. I actually had the soft door on in last night & sat inside & I did feel it was tighter to the door than the old seat but the seat latch didn't rub my side at all. It was hard to decided where to mount the seats L-R so I tried to center it up with the steering wheel.
I started the engine & went vroom vroom last night & it felt good. :sonicjay:
