looking to come up and hit R&V or TT for the first time the weekend of Nov 1-3. plan on getting up there Friday (maybe early enough to wheel half day), wheel all day sat and then go home sunday.
anyone want to play trail guide and show us around? :d:
figured a few locals might want to come out and have some fun and show us some better sections of whatever park we end up at.
it's not set in stone, but really leaning towards doing this since I have not seen any MI parks yet and am dying for some wheelin here soon
uhuh, most epic weekend of hardkowr wheelering known to man. you wont be disappointed with this choice. the whos who of badassery will be there. nuf said:rock:
how about the best place to set up camp? I'll have a 32' GN with a camper built onto it so I would prefer a pull through site with hookups. and preferably close enough just to drive the trail rig into the park if possible.
can we stay at whatever campground and then pull the trailer into the park to unload and leave the towrig/trailer there.?
sorry if these are stupid questions, I'm use to parking right in the park (like the badlands) and unloading. guess I can call them tomorrow and ask as well.
I think the campgrounds to the north will both be closed in November. (Wilson State park doesn't stay open late into the year) If you have a genny, stay at R&V.
The trail maps for R&V need to be updated we made it through regardless.
I don't think Sidewinder was on the map along with a few others.
Ron keeps cutting in trails, which is awesome.
Stump Hill was freshly groomed this past Saturday. Made it fun at the top.
looks like I'll be staying at a nearby campground. need to call tomorrow to make sure it's no problem. having a problem getting the generator running as of now so I'll need hookups so I have heat :thumb:
I will have my big generator there if you can plug in to it your more then welcome to use it. it has a 220 plug it runs my whole house. so i'm sure you it will run your rv.
awesome, thanks. just might. mine is setup for 30a so I need to see what adapters I need to get (seems many are going 50a now).
do you have a plug for 30a on yours now?
