This is my first time starting a build thread. Started out as 1990 jeep Wrangler 6cyl auto. Not running. Previous to it i had a 1986 chevy 3/4 ton pickup. The had a head on collision.
Motor, trans, tcase, axles, and YES the chevy emblem were put into the jeep.
Id start at the beginning, but dont know how to upload actual pictures. So ill start with a few years ago. With lots of pictures, every one likes pictures.

After moving axle back i had to re make traction bar, and its bracket. I used this time to separate my bars more from 6" to 9" to help control ths 39.5s a little better.

Pic2
Old traction bar top, new traction bar bottom..lots stronger 1.5" 1/4" wall dom.

Pic3
Belly shot, needs a skid plate. On the up side after moving my axle back i could move my cross member up 4" from where it was, this should help lots in the trails. No more droopy gut/muffin top.

Pic4
Pic of newly installed, 98 dodge ram 2500 master cylinder. Waaaay better brakes. One of the easiest mods to the jeep with tje best results...so far.

Pic5
At the same time i stretched the rear, may as well shave my 14 bolt, so this is a pre pic..

Pic6
This is an after the 14 bolt shave..

Pic7
This is how much was removed.

Pic8
This is a rear lower shot of the almost finished stretch and shaved jeep...

Well made myself a mini press brake for my shoo press so i can get to bending some heavy steel for trusses, frame brackets etc..
Also got some 1/8" wall 1.5" dom for shock hoops. Some pvc for practice fit links, and tore down two turbo 350 trans for some part $...and a third on its way tomorrow..wahoo.
Also stole a really good idea from a friend. A double shear pitman arm..i like it.
Try to get some actual work done on it tomorrow.
