With all the research I have been doing with the DNR, I have come across a little piece of information that turns out to be a big detail for all the Michigan 4x4 websites.
Private website owners and their invited guests are not required to license their users that are operated exclusively on their private website. HOWEVER, 4x4 websites are not considered private property, they are businesses, and therefore, licensing is REQUIRED of their users in areas open to public operations regardless of whether the website is owned by a resident or non-resident of Michigan. Thought I'd pass this information on.
Looks like anyone using a 4x4 website needs and ORV sticker.:thumb:
I have four, but they're all on motorcycles, does that mean I have to restrict my posts to the ATV/MC section on this site, or can I join in in others?
Does it make a difference that two of the motorcycles are also s.o.s. licensed?
I don't want to break any laws or give web-wheelers a bad name.
Guess I gotta move over to the LeSabre message board.
Last time I checked the last post was 2 months ago and it was me asking where I can get a tail light lense.
