I turned a pile of junk that I picked up off the side of the road into something kind of cool. I’ve taken it for a ride around the block. I can pedal comfortably at 9 MPH (without trailer, around 13-14 MPH). It’s pretty neat. Now I can take the boats down to the county park (without paying an entrance fee) and we can paddle upstream and float back to the bikes. Woot! for being green and cheap!
I might pull it with the moped, but the motorized bike has been retired. I'm not sure how much it weighs, probably close to 100 lbs altogether. I'm sure each boat is probably around 30-40 lbs plus the weight of the trailer.
