Yeah, the last year has been rough she had numb fingers for 8-10 months after her first surgery, right now it seems like we are went back to square one with fresh surgery. All because some ass hat was in a hurry and wasn't paying attention.
My aunt still can't walk very after at least two years and countless surgeries. Two kids decided to race another car over a hill in the country side, hit my aunt had on going 70. No seat belt on her, pretty much shattered her legs and a bunch of other crap got wrecked going up the rest of her body.
The grandkids have been carrying her up steps at family get togethers since then, she hobbled around with a walker, and doesn't have much lower body strength. I hear ya man.
I wish she would have lost some weight during this process to make her easier to carry though. I think she has to weigh around three bills. Not very nice to her, but Damn.
