After all these years, I scored me a flattie tonight..
Of all places, I got it at the Volunteers of America donated vehicles auction... $525:woot:
1953 CJ-3a, well used, but better shape than most I've looked at anywhere near that price. Its got a later F-head motor, looks like a T90 and twin stick Dana 18, all the stock stuff. Motor even runs.
I need to calm down, I'm so excited... I think I'll have a :stan2:
I'll try to get a pic up in a bit... my server is having technical difficulties..
I'm doing the right thing, though, and putting in a nice dry barn for the winter. I won't even touch it until spring, when the Toyota is done, and the garage is clean and ready for a new project..
