Those of you that put cardboard on the front of your trucks where do you put it? And how do you get it in and to stay? Seems like it shouldnt cover the intercooler but i cant get it in between the inter cooler and radiator because the positive cable from the drivers side battery run right across that gap
Also i was thinking about putting a coat of black spray paint on the cardboard to kind of hide it and hopefully keep it together longer
Does doing this really help? I never did this on my last diesel but that seemed to warm up a lot quicker
Any other things you do to your diesel to prepare for winter? I already changed the oil and fuel filter and replaced the plug and checked both batteries. I usually keep a bottle of diesel 911 the red bottle and ether ( i kno its bad ive never used it but for emergency it may be the only option)
i also see diesel 911 has a white bottle and a silver bottle. i was wondering if putting one of these in at every fill up helps
Any other tips?
