Default What size & brand of winch to buy?

I have a 98xj 6 cyl., with 4.5 inch lift, 33".
Just want to know what size of winch to buy & brand.

For the XJ, or a trailer to pull the XJ on to?

For the XJ.... 8000 to 9500 pound one would be ideal. Everyone prefers Warn but the cheapies work pretty well to, as long as there not over used.

For a trailer.... A 2500-3000 pound cheap winch will pull it on to the trailer for you.

As long as it's not broke, no flat tires or missing axle! has to be in good rolling order! for a trailer I'd go with a 12k that way you can pull it up no matter the condition!

For the XJ what he said it fine!
